The "Cultura Perto de Si" (Culture Near You) event in São Jacinto is free and open to all, as part of the City of Aveiro's “Cultura Perto de Si” program. Vistors are invited to watch local folk dance performances on the waterfront.

All activities take place outdoors on the Ria promenade and near the ferry landing. No tickets required.

Portugal's “rancho folclórico” (folk group) tradition dates back to the 19th century and is rooted in rural festivals. These groups preserve and perform local music, costumes, and courtship dances once typical of village fairs and agricultural cycles. Find out more here: https://folclore.pt/
